My Heart....no really.

I need some advice. Are heart palpatations a normal part of all this pre-menapausal junk? All the rest has been just monthly. like insomnia and hot....well not true hot flashes, just more like over-heating. Last night I was burning up and Todd was freezing. That is definitely NOT normal.
So anyway, these heart palpatations are seriously getting on my nerves. They're like Braxton-Hicks contractions in that they don't hurt and don't debilitate me in any way, they just bug the snot out of me. They even keep me awake sometimes.
Is it stress? Is it hormones? Am I just out of shape? (I worked out twice last week, are you proud?)
Advice?

Sounds like a dr. visit would be prudent. And there is certainly stress. Tell me what Josiah would still like and/or use. I'm sorry I missed his b'day. I'd like to get him something. Take care. You and in our prayers.
Love you guys,
Greg

Ask Bob. He loves medical questions. E-mail him at wrkiser@gmail.com. He's in San Diego this week.

Greg,
Josiah is totally obsessed right now with anything Star Wars, especially Lego Star Wars. I think he'd also appreciate a note and/or photos from Montgomery.

And, dude, I so hate pushing that send button and then realizing I've made a typo. "Doh!" I knew what you meant anyway.

I started to have it about 7 years ago. It was associated with some stress, of course. I was scared too, but ALL possible tests showed that my heart is fine, at least for now...Than I noticed that the diet is affecting my condition. When I loose some weight-it goes away, also if I consume too much carbs (like bread, sweets, etc.) it comes back. So, I try to cut on cards and keep myself active(walking, water aerobics) and it helps! But, I would advice to check your heart like I did anyway.
